FAQs
We cannot put a time limit on perfection
We are not an operating riding lesson business or recreational program.
Our focus is on developing competitive riders and horses, and the horse’s needs will always take priority. Every ride includes specific grooming, cleaning, and maintenance practices before and after riding to ensure each horse continues performing as a top-level athlete. Riders should come prepared to invest the necessary time and effort.
Ride time may range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the day’s training goals, and is in addition to the time spent on horse care. We strive to ensure that every rider leaves having accomplished something — big or small — each time they are here.
If you have time constraints, please notify the trainer in advance. While we will do our best to accommodate, adjustments cannot be made for every ride, as we want our riders to gain knowledge both in the saddle and in the barn.
Our horses are performing athletes, not retirees
Whether you are just getting started with horses, or in search to purchase one of your own we are always willing to work with you! We do currently have horses that can be used for teaching purposes, however, they will be a competitive performance horse and it is expected they be treated and taken care of under the full guidance of Cara Stewart Performance Horses.
Availability changes often, so please give us a call to confirm if we have the right horse for you!
Availability will also be determined on the event you would like to focus on. Not sure what you like? Not a problem! We can accommodate to help you find your niche.
